Dental Hygienist
– Brandi was born and raised in Waupaca. After graduating high school, she earned her Dental Assisting degree from Fox Valley Technical College and later graduated with honors in Dental Hygiene from Northwest Technical College. What made her want to enter the dental field is the fact that she loves to see and help bring about beautiful smiles. Brandi understands the importance of six-month preventative care: she likes to catch things when they’re small so they don’t turn into a bigger problem. She always works to make patients feel comfortable and well-informed when in they’re in her chair.
When she’s not helping patients in our office, Brandi loves to spend time with friends and family, especially her four stepchildren — two boys and two girls — and her dog, Dolly. One of her favorite activities is enjoying the outdoors. She is a veteran who proudly served in the National Guard for three years.
Dental Hygienist
Originally from the south-central region of Wisconsin, Angela graduated from Madison College with her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2014. She began in the dental field as a dental assistant—working for 11 years in that role—and then worked for time as a hygienist in another office before joining our Crystal River Dental team in the summer of 2023. Angela understands that every patient she sees is different, and her approach to care has to be personalized to meet those different needs. Education on dental hygiene techniques and the mouth-to-body connection are both important parts of her role as a hygienist. In addition to her many years of experience and dental knowledge, Angela brings to our office a welcoming, team-oriented personality and great rapport with patients.
What she enjoys most about working here is the great people and the beautiful area: she loves to be out in nature.
When she isn’t helping our patients and team, Angela loves spending time with her husband, two dogs, three cats, and their chickens. Her favorite activities include gardening, canning, preserving, hunting, and anything outdoors.
Dental Hygienist
Jan is from Milwaukee, but she moved here more recently from St. Germain, Wisconsin. She earned her Dental Hygiene degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College and spent 40 years as a hygienist in both the Milwaukee area and in the Northwoods. She joined our team in the summer of 2024. What drew her to the dental field is that she had a great dentist and orthodontist as a kid, and she loves people and teeth — it was a great fit from the beginning. Jan loves gaining the trust of patients, making connections with them, and guiding them through dental health discussions. She enjoys the fact that this role always involves improving.
She has made our office a better place through her decades of experience, her efficiency, and her positive teamwork attitude. What she likes most about working at Crystal River Dental is making friends and being part of a great team.
Outside of work, Jan likes to spend time with friends and family, including her children and grandchildren: she has two grown married daughters who each have one daughter. Her hobbies include cross-country skiing, biking, paddling, gardening, hiking, reading, traveling, and yoga.
Dental Hygienist
Nicole was born and raised in Sussex, Wisconsin, outside of Milwaukee. After graduating from high school, she went on to earn her associate degree in Dental Hygiene. She joined our Crystal River Dental team in the spring of 2025. One of the things that drew her into a career in hygiene was the fact that her grandmother was a dental assistant. When it comes to her overall approach to dental care, Nicole always looks to provide patients with insightful information on the importance of dental hygiene and to give the best care to every person in her chair. She brings many great qualities to our office: She is a detail-oriented team player, good at solving problems and always reliable and respectful. She’s glad to be a part of our office and to get the chance to meet more of the community and provide them with excellent dental care.
In her free time, Nicole loves spending time with her husband, who is a firefighter, and their two German Shepherds. Her favorite activities are painting, kayaking, playing video games, taking care of her houseplants, and riding her ATV.
Dental Hygienist
– Lisa is originally from Brookfield, Wisconsin. After graduating from Waukesha South High School, she went on to study at Mount Mary College in Milwaukee. She wanted to enter the dental field because she always had great experiences at the dental office when she was a child. She joined our Crystal River Dental team in the summer of 2021 and had an immediate positive impact. A trusted dentist in waupaca, Lisa is always focused on making all patients as comfortable as possible in her care, and she’s always ready to lend a helping hand to her teammates throughout the office. Her favorite thing about being part of our staff is that we have an outstanding team with members who are always willing to support each other in the best interest of our patients.
When she’s not at work, Lisa loves to spend time with her family, including her husband of almost 30 years, their twin adult sons, and their two dogs, Reggie and Kodi. Some of her favorite pastimes are cooking, gardening, and taking care of all the dogs she can.
We want every patient to feel comfortable from the first phone call to the final goodbye.
