Education
First and foremost, it’s important that we educate our children on why it’s important to keep their teeth clean and healthy, and how to do so. We like to start with eating a healthy, balanced diet, and a little education on sugar and tooth decay. We emphasize the importance of brushing and flossing every day, and show them the best techniques so they can do it themselves at home. We also tell them how important it is to visit their dentist regularly to keep their smiles clean and healthy for life.
Gentle Cleanings
We know how uncomfortable, and even painful a dental cleaning can be sometimes (without the care of the right hygienist), especially for kids. We want you and your kids to know all of our hygienists are incredibly gentle, yet impressively thorough for a cleaning that’s completely comfortable and painless. We want to ensure their first dental experiences are positive for a lifetime of oral health.
Prevention
Most kids lack the knowledge and dexterity it takes to properly care for their teeth, and it’s important we take preventive measures against tooth decay. Preventive measures for children include fluoride treatment with fun flavors, as well as sealants for an extra layer of cavity protection.
Fillings
Kids get cavities: it’s just a fact of life. While we can do our best with all of the knowledge and tools above, decay and cavities still happen. Thankfully, we live in a time where we can fill cavities and stop decay without the use of metal and toxic mercury.
